THE TRENT AND DERWENT
PARISH CHURCHES
serving the communities of
Aston on Trent, Weston on Trent, Elvaston, Shardlow
Swarkestone, Barrow upon Trent and Twyford

The Trent and Derwent Parishes are a group of village churches working together to worship God, serve our communities, and grow in faith together.
Each church within the benefice has its own character, traditions, and place within village life, yet we are united through shared worship, prayer, ministry, and friendship. Across the benefice you will find a variety of services and activities, from quieter reflective worship to community gatherings and seasonal celebrations.
Our churches have served their communities for generations and continue to be places where people gather in times of joy and sorrow, celebration and reflection. We seek to offer a warm welcome to all, whether you are a regular churchgoer, exploring faith for the first time, or simply looking for a place of peace, prayer, and belonging.
Together, we hope to be churches that are faithful, hospitable, prayerful, and rooted in the love of Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to read more about our churches on this site, or drop by for a visit. We would love to meet you, no matter what your own faith background might be.
